This is my 8th season as Head coach of the mens and womens ski teams at Alfred University. In 8 seasons the men advanced 6 times and the women 4 times to USCSA National Championships.
The mens best finish was in 2001 finishing 9th at Bogus Basin in Idaho. The womens best finish was 6th at Sunday River Maine..
We train at swain ski center. Our season consists of 10 meets. We race at Labrador Mtn., Swain ski center, Whiteface Mtn., Toggenburg Mtn., and Song Mtn.
AU women dominated the Midatlantic Regional Championships at Elk Mtn. Pa.winning by a large margin. The women again dominated at the first New York State regional championships . The men finised 3rd. Both teams competed at Sunday River, Maine. Lauren Pfeifer was the individual champion for the 2nd year winning both events both years.
