Let the fun begin. Destroying the front porch
I purchased this house in December 2001. It was a small two bedroom with a vaulted ceiling and small living room. The front porch was falling down and causing water damage to the main house. I had Kevin remodel the front of the house by rebuilding the front with new footers and removing the porch and rebuilding it and changing the roofline. He built the bay with Pella windows and then removed the original front wall enlarging the living room by seven feet. This makes the living space much larger giving an open feeling to the house. I use the side of the addition as a small home office. The house also was sided and the front deck built using natural cedar lumber. The skirting around the front is also cedar. The interior trim work is some of the best I’ve ever seen and I have had other major remodeling done on my other house. The value of the house has more than doubled because of this remodeling and also due to house values going up in New Jersey. I have received many compliments on the remodeling job.
